Meet Larry

Hello, I am Larry Deavenport, a researcher, educator, and mentor with more than forty years of hands-on experimentation in electrokinetics, the science of energy in motion. My lifelong curiosity was shaped by pioneers like Nikola Tesla and T. Townsend Brown, whose visionary work inspired me to dedicate my career to exploring propulsion and energy systems that work with nature rather than against it.

Over the decades, I have focused on building and testing experimental systems that most people have only encountered in theory. My work centers on motion-based energy technologies that reduce environmental strain and open new possibilities for clean propulsion and sustainable innovation.

Today, I share this knowledge through signature programs, workshops, live demonstrations, and mentorship. My mission is to guide innovators, researchers, and engineers beyond scattered theories into real experiments, working prototypes, and credible discoveries that can transform the future of energy.

Over the years, my work has taken me to exciting places. I’ve shared my inventions at events like the Tesla Extraordinary Science Convention in Albuquerque and other notable conferences, as well as through online platforms like YouTube. My passion isn’t just about creating; it’s about inspiring. I love collaborating on innovative projects, mentoring others in the field, and providing guidance to help bring new ideas to life. At Deavenport Technologies, I focus on creating small generators, DIY kits, and custom electrokinetic solutions that empower individuals and businesses to embrace cleaner, more efficient energy. Whether I’m presenting keynotes, offering live demonstrations, or working one-on-one with budding inventors, my mission is to inspire a future where sustainable energy is accessible to everyone. Join me on this journey to rethink how we generate and use energy. Together, we can push the boundaries of what’s possible and create a world powered by solutions that are safer, more beautiful, and just as sustainable as today’s technologies—if not better.

Mission

My mission is to use what I have learned from my life experiences, education, and more than forty years of research to educate and mentor innovators, researchers, and engineers who are ready to explore the frontier of electrokinetics. I provide structured teaching, hands-on demonstrations, and one-on-one mentorship that bridge the gap between scattered theory and working prototypes, guiding learners toward clarity, skill, and confidence.

This work is focused on building energy solutions that reduce reliance on natural resources such as copper, silver, iron, and gold, which have long been extracted to create systems that scar the earth’s natural beauty. By developing motion-based technologies that work in harmony with nature, we can restore landscapes, protect God’s creation, and create sustainable, affordable, and attractive energy systems. Together, we are shaping a new generation of pioneers equipped to advance energy innovation and redefine what is possible.
